ESAB CMS Migration & Ongoing UX Development
Overview
Served as a contributor on the front-end and CMS migration of ESAB’s primary enterprise marketing website. Rebuilt templates, implemented modular components, and improved responsive patterns to enable maintainable, scalable, and consistent experiences for global marketing teams and authenticated users. Continued post-migration as a UX-focused front-end developer, supporting ongoing enhancements, new features, and platform evolution.
The Challenge
- Legacy CMS constrained layout flexibility and reuse.
- Inconsistent templates increased maintenance effort
- Routine updates required frequent developer involvement
- Existing front-end patterns were difficult to extend
Before: Legacy CMS
After: Current CMS
My Role

Solution & Implementation

- Implemented scalable templates, modules, and content models in Mura CMS
- Rebuilt front-end templates using modular HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and ColdFusion
- Established reusable components to improve consistency and reduce duplication
- Supported content migration, validation, and QA with marketing teams
Supporting Work: Authenticated Account & Services Dashboard
Implemented the front-end experience for ESAB’s authenticated account area, enabling secure login and access to a centralized dashboard of ESAB services.
The dashboard provides a single entry point to platforms including ESAB University, Partner Login, Product & Service Manuals, and the Marketplace. Built with modular, reusable components aligned to ESAB’s design system, the layout supports adding or updating services without structural changes.
This work extended the CMS-driven marketing platform into authenticated user experiences, maintaining a cohesive brand experience across public and logged-in areas.
Key Contributions - Implemented branded login and authentication UI - Built a modular, card-based services dashboard - Ensured responsive behavior and usability across devices - Aligned authenticated UX with existing front-end architecture.
Results & Impact
- Reduced developer involvement in routine marketing updates
- Improved consistency and scalability across the global platform
- Extended front-end architecture to support authenticated workflows
- Delivered a stable foundation for both public and logged-in experiences
